This high-performance formula resists hot tire pick-up, scuffing, fading, cracking, peeling and blistering. Can be applied to interior/ exterior surfaces such as porous concrete, masonry, stone and brick. For use on horizontal surfaces such as garage floors, driveways, basements, porches and pool decks. DO NOT use on vertical surfaces or areas subject to hydrostatic pressure. DO NOT use on areas subject to fork-lifts. For residential applications only.

Preparation†
The following steps and products are required.

New and Uncoated Concrete or Masonry Surfaces:
New concrete must cure for a minimum of 30 days. For proper penetration and adhesion of topcoat, use a product such as KILZ Concrete & Masonry Cleaner & Etcher to clean and etch the surface. Apply a product such as KILZ Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer to increase adhesion of topcoat to the surface. -
Painted, Stained or Sealed Concrete:
Option 1- To completely strip the entire surface, use a product such as KILZ Concrete & Masonry Paint Stripper.
Option 2- To recoat over an existing coating, remove any loose or peeling paint and scuff sand the surface. Use a product such as KILZ Concrete & Masonry Cleaner & Degreaser to clean previously coated surfaces in sound condition. Use a product such as KILZ Concrete & Masonry Cleaner & Etcher to clean and etch any bare concrete area.
Application

DO NOT DILUTE.
-
USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION.
-
Intermix all cans of same product to ensure color uniformity. Stir before applying.
-
For best results, apply when air and surface temperatures are between 50-90°F.
-
Apply a thin, even coat using a 3/8" nap roller cover, pad applicator or a nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (.015"-.021"spray tip, 60 mesh filter).

COVERAGE: 400-500 sq. ft. per gallon on smooth surfaces and of 300-400 sq. ft. per gallon on rough surfaces.

Allow first coat to dry 24 hours before deciding if a second coat is necessary. For uniformity, apply a second coat (in a criss-cross direction).

DO NOT APPLY MORE THAN TWO COATS. An annual touch-up may be required in areas subject to tire traffic.
Dry Time
-
Dries to touch in 2 hours. Longer dry time required in cooler temperatures and in higher humidity.

Re-coat time 4-6 hours.

The floor may be subjected to light foot traffic after 24 hours. Allow 72 hours before subjecting surface to heavy foot traffic or repositioning furniture.

Allow 7 days before subjecting to automotive tires. Premature heavy traffic will cause paint failure requiring spot recoating. If necessary, corrugated cardboard may be used underneath automobile tires after 72 hours.

Wait at least 30 days before rinsing or cleaning. Use a mild detergent as needed. Abrasive cleaners and pressure-washers should be used carefully to avoid premature paint failure.
Clean up & Disposal

Clean all tools and equipment with soap and clean water.
-
If spilled, contain material and remove with an inert absorbent. Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container and unused product in accordance with all current governmental regulations.

Do not dispose of this product down a drain. For recycling or disposal information contact your local household refuse collection service.
Cautions/Limitations

For best results, apply at temperatures between 50°F - 90°F. Temperatures above 90°F may affect the application such as drying too fast. Avoid applying in direct sun. NOTE: If the surface is hot to the touch it should be considered too hot to apply this coating.

Avoid heavy traffic for 24 hours.

Allow 30 days before washing or cleaning for full cure.

Shelf life under normal conditions is two years unopened.

If you scrape sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. CAUTION! Surfaces may become slippery when wet. Use caution when walking on surface when moisture is present.

HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. MAY CAUSE EYE, NOSE AND THROAT IRRITATION. AVOID CONTACT WITH SKIN AND EYES AND AVOID BREATHING OF VAPORS AND SPRAY MIST. WEAR EYE PROTECTION AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. To avoid breathing vapors and spray mist, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches or dizziness, increase fresh air. If properly used, a respirator (NIOSH approved for organic vapor with P series particulate pre-filter) may offer additional protection; obtain professional advice before using. A dust mask does not provide protection against vapors. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash thoroughly after handling. Close container after each use.
First Aid
- If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical assistance immediately.
- In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
- For skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- If swallowed, get medical attention immediately.
